Writers are taught that a story has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Closure is important to us. But how sorry are we to see a good book end? The truth is we don’t really like endings at all.
Stories speak to the ‘what if’s’ in our own lives. I know a lot of things are not going to stay for long, so I write about them, and whenever they end I will try my best to make them as peaceful as a sunset.
This site is a little all over the place right now as far as content, and maybe it should be. Truth is, I kind of like it that way. It’s not just about the craft of writing anymore, but maybe more about the craft of living life while writing.
